Neal Mangaokar

Ph.D. candidate @UMich CSE

I'm a 5th-year Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering department of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I'm advised by Dr. Atul Prakash, and also enjoy working closely with Dr. Kassem Fawaz and Dr. Somesh Jha at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my B.S in Computer Science at Virginia Tech, where I was advised by Dr. Bimal Viswanath.

My research interests span the security, privacy, and fairness implications of machine-learning systems. My work has been largely funded by the National Science Foundation via a NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and the DARPA GARD program.
